Tamaduni Baskets are handmade by a self-help group of women weavers in a remote rural village in Kenya. Each basket can take up to 7 days to complete, and their fine weave requires a skilled artist. Each Tamaduni Basket is the weavers own interpretation of their natural terrain; by using organic shapes and natural rich colors in their designs.
Supporting these women through their craft bring empowerment, financial security and provides them with additional income for their families.
Use this basket as a planter, for storage, or to liven up a shelf!
Approximate Dimensions - 9" x 9"
Each basket is handmade, so slight variance in color + designwill occur- that's part of the beauty!
Please note: Our Tamaduni Baskets are shipped flat. The best way to reshape and maintain the integrity of your new basket is to simply fill with items such as pillows, blankets, towels, or even planters to encourage your desired shape.
